gown made for dynas during anugerah skrin 2009.
it turned out well,as the theme was 'arabian night'
wanted to still keep it elegant and beautiful.
so i chose the tones of soft nude and light gold for embellishments.
thank you ola for the fab accesories.

MIFW 2009

its been wayy long.

its been a full month i havent blogged!
but anyway,
i will scan and tag images here.
of recent articles and magazine images.

for the month of april:

- i finally completed the Thomas pink project
where we showcased customized shirt and it went well. someone name
nikmat bid on my shirt for rm1050!whoop!

- and i did a gown for hunny madu which caused a small stir
although actually its no biggie. just the top button popped when she was presenting.
it was quite cute actually.

-and i completed the styling project for barbie's 50th annivesary featuring jaspal
event which i couldnt attend as i had to go singapore.

- Nurita Harith is officially stocking at blackmarket!

-theres been a lot of ups and downs with the recession and all.
i just hope things will look up soon.

hi guys,


ive been away for almost two weeks.

there have been bad and good .

firstly, Nurita Harith will be showcasing the red dress - the heart foundation for singapore fashion week under 'Black market ' where will also be stocking our stock end of march (early april)

2nd, we are also customizing Thomas Pink shirts for their gala show and will be in exhibition
during the Gardens fashion week on the 19th April at The Gardens.
still looking for a muse for this.hmmm.


and also 3rdly we have been busy preparing for Anugerah Bintang popular where
ill be designing for Juliana Evans.

4thly, most closest event,busy preparing for stylo gala event where ill be dressing
Raha aboo and nina omar.two very gorgeous ladies.

5thly,preparing for new collection that will be showcased at

- on the 18th april at Aristo,Zouk

- on the 30th april, MODA fashion gateway at One utama


other than that,i just got back from UK visiting mummy dearest for a week.
and now its back facing the workload!phew!!!

more singapore good news!

i was just emailed from jasmine,
that if i was keen in doing a red dress for the breast cancer awareness
exhibition/auction for singapore fashion week 2009.

its a small step but a good one.
who knows few more years down the line singapore fashion week would be something i
would definitely look into.


other than that ive been pretty stressed on my gown-songket theme for anugerah bintang
popular.its quite the challenge,thats for sure.

im hoping it will be tasteful and elegant.

singapore,here i come

the happiest news ive got yesterday is that
i will be stocking at blackmarket in singapore.
hopefully by end march for the first pieces.
and once ive got the neon pieces done end of april.
im pretty excited and so grateful to allah for giving me
this chance.

its a beautiful boutique !

singapore and back!

is back from singapore.had a fabulous but rainy time.
we loved bugis,arab street and of cos good ol orchard.
we shopped,we danced in wheelchairs,we squel,we ran under rain
and we indulged in junks.

will be going back for more.

few days of shooting

Ida Nerina in Nurita Harith,jewellery by OLA
for 'Hartamas'.


hi!

its been few days me updating the blog.
but in an odd way shop was closed friday and sunday due to renting out
for shooting tv series 'hartamas'

where i am sponsoring ida nerina for her outfits and ola are sponsoring for the jewellery.
finally after so many delays the half of the outfits are done,and yeah she looked good in that
fitted fuschia pink dress.

yesterday was also the last day of my first intern ferris.
it was quiet a sad day in a way,as we all grown quite attached to him.
with his nonsense talking and funny verses,its going to be quiet without him.

its been a good few days in the boutique.
and sales has picked up,
im very thankful to allah.


but have been procrastinating
on design work,completing orders and also many other things.
really need to get it done one by one.

other thn that,i think today sunday will relatively be a quiet day.
mmmmm

maybe gloomy maybe not

i am blogging first thing in the morning today,
just to do a small forecast.


funny feeling,today might be a gloomy day not just in terms of weather but
work,i can sense a few misunderstandings (having a client over,whom is extremely fussy)
and having to rush out to get fabrics after and then back to shop,then out again to get it sent to tailor.


most days i like settling in the boutique workroom.
but today,i have to be out,sigh.


lets hope theres a bit of sunshine tho. :)

tender areas

its hurtful when
you walk past ur dad in public,bumping into him
but both not acknowledging each other.
it doesnt bother me as much,in a way i have expected this
moment but whats most hurtful is when
the little sister u thought u had,chose to shut you away.

sometimes i can imagine her difficulties,living
with someone as complicated as my dad,but
part of me wishes she will be independant enough to
make her own life and not let him dictated it. (which he oh so enjoys)


maybe one day,one fine day,i will be able to actually sit down
and have coffee with my sister,with her feeling content with life too.


as i have always said,life is less complicated with him not in it.

Tea Party thingy

hey peeps!

we had a tea party at the boutique today,
justin,micky and cho came which was fab of them
true commitment and ms.mok brought her new shoes in and yeah
was really nice.

this time around is a tad more quiet but i dont know
people would tell me stay positive,be happy with the turn out and the
outcome of sale,and i should.
in a way it didnt go all crazy but it was bad at all,thats for sure.
anyway,sold deer dress (oddly i feel a bit sad a bout it haha!)


and have attached new pictures of azura wearing ss09 dress with studds for the sk11 ad.

looking so subtle and sweet.

new pieces!

today i was still coughing extremely bad.
and also did a small shoot with raessa and khalil.
it went very well,even with the wiring problem! (aircond and few lights went busted due to
wiring problem)

here i have posted the three animals - the iguana,the awana fish and the deer.
love them all.
and also from this i have gained plenty plenty more ideas for designs!!
was wondering if i should venture back to my own sketches of drawings and
actually transfering it to prints.
pure me.hahaha.

i have received our 3 new baby colours toga pieces.
in baby orange/pink/purple.
all handdrawn image on them.
with detailed images,such as deer,iguana and awana fish. hehe


love love it!

but for now enjoy it on its own. :)))
